2012 Event 2 Report

Neil Toms wins the second event, beating Michael Hope 7-5 in the final. A welcome boost to Neil's 2012 ranking points taking him from 11th to 5th in the overall rankings.

Only 1 pro ranked player, John Roe, made it past the last 16 stage. Pros from previous years didn't do much better with only Neil Toms making it past the last 16.

The battle to remain in the top 32 continues with Steve McCann stealing last place, closely followed by Daniel Davy and Ady Bonsor who both drop outside the top 32 for event 3.

2012 Event 1 Report

Phil Harrison wins the first event of 2012, beating close friend, Rich Wharton, 7-2 in the final.

New to the tour, Jimmy Carney, won 5 matches and was narrowly beaten 6-4 by Phil Harrison in the semi finals. A noteworthy performance, coming through 3 deciding frames along the way.

As always, the first event of the tour had almost full attendance, the organisers would like to thank the players for their patience on the day.

With the next event coming up in May, can Phil continue the success? Or will Cambridge's Mickey Lambert step up and show the form that took him to the number 1 spot in the rankings?
